TV just shuts down on power up and "lamp" LED blinks. Visual inspection of new lamp housing and old lamp (5 years old lamp that came with tv) indicated that new lamp housing has slighly smaller contact pads (which will make incomplete contact with power conductors). Since this was my second order with the same problem I had to become creative. I disassembled new lamp housing and inserted new lamp and new lens into my old lamp housing. This made the trick and new lamp/lens in old housing works OK. Finally TV picture is bright again!The point is that lamp itself may be ok, but housing of the lamp is out of spec and may not work with every TV as description says. However, if you can use screw driver you can fix the problem by reusing your old lamp housing. Some folks will consider this reasonable for the price. Amazon customer service was great. Yet, I choose this option because Technical Characteristics were explicit: "new lamp in the housing". The most rated option, which was a little cheaper, did not have such explicit details. Also reviews were somewhat confusing because some customers complained about getting the lamp wihouth the housing. Well, I made the right choice and would highly recommend this dealer. The lamp arrived much earlier than promised delivery date, and an installation was very easy. For those, who think this could be a hassle, do not worry. You do not even have to move your TV - the lamp entry is on the righ side of the TV.
