Add clearly shows a philips lamp, but they sent me an unmarked box. After investigation, I found it was osram that is far less durable! I get about 8-10 months out of an osram compared to 16-24 months out of a Phillips. And they are more expensive, so here you pay for a Philips and get a scam!

After a local dealer quoted me a price of nearly $300, and Panasonic's website had the lamp for @$275, I looked at Amazon and found this original lamp for less than $100. I ordered it immediately and got it within days. I installed it per the instructions, but had to go online to find out how to reset the lamp timer as those instructions were not included with the lamp I recieved. Would recommend this to anyone!

I bought this product hoping to save a few bucks from having to purchase it directly from Panasonic. The difference in pricing was huge. I cannot speak for anyone else but from my experience it has been a disaster. The TV will shut off for no reason if its on for no more than a few mins. The next day it will work totally different. This has never happened before so the only thing I can attribute it to is the new bulb being defective. I have not contacted Amazon yet to see if they can exchange. I'm to the point where I have concluded this is or might be the worst TV I have ever purchased! I have never seen a TV that was so unreliable. Would I ever buy a Panasonic TV again? NEVER! This is the 3rd bulb in 4yrs I could have purchased a new TV instead. You live you learn! I have never ever posted about a product online. Im so upset!
