First the image projected was upside down. When I went to the FAQ in the manual - first problem - no FAQ page.Instead I was directed to the www.wowwee.com website. After selecting the product I went to the FAQ section . Five questions!!!! Right so I am to believe that I am the first person to have an upside down image! The manual made it sound that as long as the video application was playing on the Ipad then the Cinemin Slice would project the image and provide the sound. The sound part was correct and worked smoothly, but the video part did not. Sometimes the video played (upside down) sometimes it did not. Sometimes it played and then just paused but the sound continued on. As there was no discussion of this on the FAQ the only option is to send an email to product support and wait for their reply. I use it to watch "Friends" on my ceiling as I lay in bed. It's surprisingly clear, although, as with most projectors, the image gets washed out easily with the faintest of light. The sound quality is impeccable except for the fact the thing has a bit of hum as it runs. It's a little quirky and I feel like the inputs should have been on the opposite side but hey, I like it and it works.
