The unit came well-packaged and complete. And by complete, I mean it came with everything INCLUDING full and easy to follow instructions on how to replace the bulb with housing AND instructions on Resetting the TV's timer. Many other sellers offered installation instructions only or none at all. It was VERY simple to replace the lamp unit by following the directions, just make sure you fully seat the unit in the TV, you can kind of feel it click in place. It was professional of them to include directions for resetting the timer as well, thus eliminating the need to research the internet for the process. The bulb itself seems to be every bit as bright as the original. I checked with some local TV repair shops and a leading Big Box store with their own special "squad" and was quoted prices from $400.00+ to $550.00 to supply the bulb with housing and installation. The picture and brightness looks pretty same to that of the original lamp and its been 1 month and so far no complains. The Lamp is from philips and reviews suggest philips lamp lasts longer than its rival products. I would recommend this product. I could have purchased this bulb for less elsewhere. I purchased here for more expecting to get a Phillips bulb which is a better bulb and worth spending more money on but instead i just ended up spending more on a cheap knock off bulb from China. Stay away from this seller!!!! Do not buy from this seller!!!! If you want a cheap knock off bulb from China you can get the bulb for less on e-bay. If you want a Phillips bulb you will not get it from this seller. |
