If you are considering a single table stand with telescoping legs your plan is not going to work if you want to use your projector in different locations. We have used our projector indoors in several rooms, and in our back yard with a DVR and a laptop. With a single table stand where do you put the DVR/laptop? On the ground? The Gigant stand has solid legs and two tables so you have a place for your input device. We have even had a small stereo amp, bookshelf speakers, dvr, and projector on it for a large party. The projector table height is close to perfect for a standard screen. It is easier to place the projector on this stand, and move my screen up or down a few inches to center the picture than it is to adjust the four telescoping legs on he other style of projecor tables.
