Picture on TV is like new and is well worth the bulb replacement cost. Update; bulb blew out and lasted less than original which lasted 6 years. Very disappointing. Once it was installed, and the TV turned back on, it was like we had a brand new TV. We had noticed the picture getting a little dark, but I figured it was just the way it was as the TV aged. Luckily my husband remembered the lamp could be replaced, and checked the manual. Thank God! For a little over $100 including shipping, we have a brand new TV. Thanks for being there when we needed you. I went ahead and installed it anyway and it fit and is as bright as the original. I couldn't beat the price either.
