It mounted onto my wall and I had it installed in about 20 minutes. It took a few tries to figure out how to mount it, because I couldn't figure out which way is up. I suggest anyone who installs it mounts their monitor on it first, then place it on the wall and verify it swivels in the correct direction, then remove the monitor and mount. It is a very sturdy wall mount. I have it holding a fairly heavy 28" monitor and I have no concern about the mount coming loose or breaking. The construction of the arm is very sturdy and made of thick steel. Cables are mounted underneath the bottom of the arm. They're not completely hidden but they are out of the way.The swivel function of the arm works great. You can tilt the monitor up and down 80�, pan 360�, and rotate 90�. The arm collapses onto itself fairly well so it is out of the way and the monitor can sit back about 3" away... The scariest element, to me, was this item, the arm for suspending this 30-pound computer.
